Exotic Meats

So, have you heard of YELP? It's a cool site where people write reviews for restaurants, stores etc. and when I got an account, I asked for any top reviews to be e-mailed to me. So, there was a cool review today on Exotic Meats in Toronto. This one girl ordered "Sliced Bison and Caramelized Onions in BBQ Sauce". Doesn't that sound GOOD? Other people also mentioned Wild Boar Sandwiches, Kangaroo, Braised Rabbit and Elk. Now, I want to try this out!

What to Do in Mexico

Okay, so first of all, sorry I didn't post anything for a little while, I've been really busy. But anyways, every year I go to Mexico for a week as a family reunion/vacation. Even though I'm not going until February, I'm getting myself all prepared, and I came up with a short list called "What to Do in Mexico". It doesn't have much so far, but this is just a rough list, so here it is......
Barcelo Karmina Resort in Manzanillo, Mexico

1. Get an awesome tan!- Well, everyone loves a tan, and I'm SO pale than in the sun, you can see my veins. So a tan, that would just be awesome.

2. Wear the coolest sunglasses- So in Quebec I got the coolest glasses ever. Red plaid. They, they're just cool okay? Okay.

3. Not wear cool sunglasses at night- You would not believe how many stupid people wear sunglasses at night. Like, it's 11:30 PM, why are you wearing your sunglasses?? Like, I can't see now, how can you? And I think if I wear my cool plaid shades at night, they aren't cool anymore...

4. Drink enough salt water that you wanna puke- Yes, it sounds like a bad idea, but I love swimming in an ocean, and with that comes a lot of accidentally inhaling ocean water. Yeah, it's disgusting, it makes you feel sick, but really, without it, do you get the real ocean experience?

5. Lime Chips and Apple Pop- Mexico tradition. You might get those in U.S.A, but in Canada, you don't. But of course, Americans don't get Dill Pickle or Ketchup Chips, and Root Beer is rare, so it evens out, but still.

6.Count stray cats- Okay, yes it's sad, but true. There are TONS of strays out there. Some cute, some mangy, but all number-worthy. Especially when I go on tours around the neighbourhoods, I love to count me some kittens!

Okay, there might be more, but I can't come up with any yet. But if you're going to Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii etc., you can do any, all or a combination of these things (kudos to you if you can figure out how to do a combination)
